Barrio Builders is a licensed general contractor based in Tucson, Arizona. We do residential and commercial construction across the metro — roofing, remodels, renovations, additions, and commercial build-outs.
The owners
Barrio Builders LLC is owned by Isaac Zazueta and James McConnell. James McConnellis the company’s qualifying party and holds the Arizona contractor’s license; both are owners, and both are on the jobs.
You deal with the owners directly — not a call center, not a rotating crew of strangers.
Why we started it
We kept hearing the same complaints about other contractors: no callback, no clear price, a crew that leaves mid-job. We built Barrio Builders to be the opposite of that — reachable, straight about cost, and there until the punch list is signed.
